The theme of our workshops will be storytelling, and we will teach theatre skills as tools to awaken the individual stories of our participants. We hope to engage with the participants in a cultural exchange of stories and the methods in which they are told, and to respond to South Africa’s call for its artists to confront the country’s controversial history through the telling of their own experiences and the expression of their own cultures. We would like to leave our participants empowered with the tools to contribute to such a discussion, and subsequently, we would like to leave with new tools of communication to be used in our own work in the United States. The workshops will culminate in a sharing of the stories we have created together. 

Our workshops will be based on the training we develop as a group and will be highlighted with skills and training of the individual company members. Our company members will give workshops in dance, movement, rhythm, voice, music, puppetry, writing, and spoken word.
